Family in central Toronto looking for a Full Time Live-in Caregiver. We have 2 children ages 7 and 1 years old. The ideal candidate is fluent in English and Spanish, and has references.

Job description: Supervise and care for children; bathe, dress and feed children; prepare children for rest periods; organize activities such as games and outings for children; prepare craft materials and assist children to use them; read to children; prepare and serve nutritious meals; change diapers for the baby; perform light housekeeping  and cleaning duties; maintain a safe and healthy environment at home; tend to emotional wellbeing of children; take children to and from school and to appointments.

We are looking for someone with the equivalent of a CanadianSecondary School education that has a minimum of 1 year full time work experience. We are offering residence in our private household for duration of employment; private accommodations will be provided. We will offer the government regulated amount of $10/hour for a live-in caregiver and deducting 369.42 per month for room & board. This is a 3 year contract, 40 hours per week, and includes 2 weeks of paid vacation plus statutory holidays. The start date is August 15/09.
